Professional Sealants, Inc. (PSI) is seeking a full-time Project Manager with at least five years of commercial construction project management experience. This role manages contracts, project coordination, estimating, Billings/AIA's, accounts payable & receivable, QuickBooks Online records, & communication with general contractors from pre-bid through closeout. The successful candidate will be organized, accurate, proactive, & able to solve problems & manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

$100,000–$125,000

THE ROLE

What You’ll Manage

Manage multiple commercial projects from pre-bid through closeout. Coordinate with the Operations team, with billing support from the Office Manager and Operations Manager. 

Contracts & Coordination

  • Review general contractor contracts against PSI proposals, scope, pricing and requirements. Resolve discrepancies before execution.
  • Represent PSI in scope reviews, pre-bid and post-bid discussions, and preconstruction or project meetings.
  • Track submittals from start to finish; support warranties and required closeout documents.
  • Maintain the ongoing project list and related records.
  • Coordinate material and equipment orders and project scheduling with Operations.
  • Confirm scope, material and submittal requirements from drawings, specifications and shop drawings.

Billing & Project Accounts

  • Manage accurate, timely customer billing, including AIA payment applications, QuickBooks Online invoices, schedules of values, waivers and required billing documents.
  • Own the accuracy and timeliness of accounts receivable; coordinate past-due collections with the Office Manager.
  • Review and approve material and equipment purchases and vendor invoices; assist the Office Manager with vendor payments.
  • Maintain accurate QuickBooks Online project, billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

Estimating & Takeoffs

  • Read and interpret commercial drawings, specifications and shop drawings to calculate square footage and lineal footage.
  • Estimate quantities for building façades, slab sawcuts, foundation waterproofing and expansion-joint systems.

5 years of commercial construction project management experience is preferred.
Candidates with 5 years in commercial construction that includes project management responsibilities may also be considered. 

 

Required Knowledge & Capabilities

Required Skills:

      • Strong organizational skills.
      • Strong problem-solving and decision-making.
      • Strong communication and customer facing skills

 

Technical Proficiency:

      • QuickBooks Online, AIA billing, accounts payable & accounts receivable experience.
      • Working knowledge of commercial sealants, caulks, waterproofing systems, air-barrier materials and expansion-joint systems.

Project Management:

      • Relevant job experience in commercial construction.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
      • Direct communication with general contractors.
      • Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings, specifications & shop drawings.
      • Observable ownership, accuracy, adaptability and follow-through.
